Sundays at RBC
Our weekly Sunday services are held at 10:30am. In addition to our morning services, we hold the following evening services: 1st Sunday of the month - communion & prayer, 2nd Sunday of the month - ‘‘traditional’ service & tea at 4pm, 3rd Sunday of the month - GATHER (contemporary prayer & praise including testimonies).

During the school term we provide a full programme of activities for children and young people from preschoolers to school year 9 (age 14). At various times throughout the year we join together for All Age worship.
​​During the services on the first Sunday evening and third Sunday morning of each month we gather around the Lord’s table for communion.Our Sunday morning services are usually live-streamed on Youtube here. We have a loop system for those who use hearing aids
Sunday Morning YFC Provision
Romsey Baptist Church has a thriving youth work and this is obvious during a Sunday morning service when, after twenty minutes or so, the young people leave to go to their groups. The church seems to be left half empty!
We have a dedicated room for babies and toddlers with age appropriate toys. Volunteers are available each week, but parents are more than welcome to stay.

Ages: 0-4 years old
RBC kids is our group for children from reception-year 5. We love spending time together! We start with a weekly catch up when we talk about anything and everything; the children love to share about how their weeks have been. We then usually warm up our bodies (and minds!) with a game before getting down to our session. Quite often we will happily munch on a chocolate biscuit and a cup of squash whilst listening to a bible story, before moving onto some faith based discussions, prayers, worship and craft. We often end our time together by, playing another game or listening to worship songs.
Yzone (Sunday Morning Provision)
Yzone is our Sunday morning group for young people in school years 6 - 9*, it runs in tandem with the main service, with us spending the first 15 minutes in the service worshipping God collectively as a family before we head upstairs for age-specific teaching. Our sessions often consist of an opening game or activity to get us thinking about the topic before we open the bible and dig into God’s word. Whether the current topic is following along with the main service or if we have decided to focus on something else, each session is tailor-made to help engage the young people and bring God’s word alive to them, through discussion and memorable illustrations.
Traditional services
Normally on the second Sunday of each month we hold a traditional worship service at 4pm. These services are appreciated by those who enjoy older hymns, accompanied by an organ, and a slightly more formal service. The services are followed by a tea in the church hall.
3rd Sunday of the month
6.30pm: Refreshments and fellowship
7pm: Worship
GATHER started February 2024 on the third Sunday evening (6:30-8pm) of the month at RBC.
The vision is to be an encouragement and a space for Christians from all over Romsey to GATHER and enjoy fellowship together, to GATHER for a time of sung worship, creative worship, prayer, testimony and sharing. To learn and be inspired from each other at what God is doing in Romsey and to be filled with HIS spirit to go out in His name in our work places, homes, wherever we connect with others.
We GATHER because we are SO grateful that He is with us (Matthew 18 v20) ...... Come join in and bring your ideas...refreshments always provided.
